I know of an unwholesome and punishable Pally
Whose crimes and misdeeds are too numerous to tally.
One wonders what would happen
If he stopped all his yappin’
And laid aside this senseless, verbal sally.

Would all the peace in the world
When his tongue he did furl,
Suddenly rise to the front
When he desisted his stunts
Or perhaps it would now be somehow sterile?

He seems at times
To be reaching for rhymes,
To make him seem clever
When in fact he’s been ever
Falling behind on such an uphill climb.

I would like to be the first to thank
This insufferable, wannabe tank
For putting up with the jests
And putting my good-nature to the test
And upon whose chain he did let me yank.
