This was a total blast and I thank everyone that came out. I would like to make a couple points from what I saw:
1. Everyone did a great job
2. The only minor problem I saw was that some of us kept moving past the MT. In ALOT of cases, this really doesn't matter much. HOWEVER, in places we are not familiar with, it is usually a bad idea to get ahead of the Main Tank/Puller. I prefer to err on the side caution myself as alot of times it saves us from a wipe.
I REALLY feel that we would have OWNED AoW. However, the MT, acting against his better judgement, got out of range of his healer. I will work on this and will also be checking with Vas and working on getting her range worked out and see about some ER IV items.
I still can't say how much fun I had. I love going to zones where we have never been before and killing 'uber' mobs that we have always felt was out of our reach. I was pretty distracted after the raid, talking in tells, and mentioned this to a friend. What I told him was this "With the advent of Gates and Omens armor, MOST of the Old World boss mobs will be cake for groups that are primarily outfitted with this gear." I will be proving this statement in the upcoming months.
