VALOR(tm) once again invites you to come out and have some FUN!! On November 12th, Vaeuryte will be celebrating his 36th Season on the Plane of Earth.

To celebrate his birthday, he REALLY wants only one gift. A

In order to achieve this, he has invited his friends and Family to come to Kael Drakkal and kill the Evil Idols and the Evil Avatar of War

When: Friday, 12 Nov

Channel: Vaebday

Level Requirements: 55+

Time: 6pm CST until we kill em all

Meeting Place: Eastern Wastes, just outside Kael

Targets: Any named we can lay our hands on..Vindi, Statue, Idol, AoW, etc.

Specific Items we are after: Blade of Carnage, Sleepers Tomb quest piece and ANYthing we can squeeze outta them Giants.

Loot will be done on a as needed basis with consideration given to passing down items that were replaced. I think this will also give us an opportunity to upgrade of few of our Family and Friends

***NOTE*** This will be a Learning Experience for ALL of us. Prior knowledge of what these mobs are capable of is highly valued. However, I am of the opinion that MANY of the Old World mobs that we were once afraid of, can be easily taken down by groups that are decently geared with Ornate/GoD/OoW gear. Let us be the ones to rewrite the books on these mobs. If we can take these guys down, look forward to seeing more upcoming events from Valor to places like Hate/Fear/Halls of Testing, etc.

This sounds like a blast. I love going to Kael. However, some of us - including you, Vae - posted we'd attend CDD's BoT raid. Has that raid been cancelled?

ack .. seriously id love to go to this but not gonna break a commitment are you SURE this is gonna be the day .. ill have to try to figure out how to be in two places at once

The CDD raid is at 8pm Central ... Kael Arena raid at 6pm (which I doubt I'll be able to make, durn it ... I wanna kill 'em again)

HOWEVER ... if you've never done Avatar, he's a beast, he does NOT slow. I would plan on at least one wipe and that adds time. You've got barely 2 hours to get in, clear the arena, pull the Statue, then Idol, then Avatar. While keeping repops down. And Vindi, I mean, we might as well kill him, right?

For Statue, he slows, so not much worry there. (loots)
Idol can be slowed, but probably gonna need a CH rotation. (no loot)
Avatar cannot be slowed, def. need CH rotation, LOTS of DPS. (LOOTS!)

Ok..it's cancelled. Please remove the item from the Calendar.

I'd be for getting CDD to come with us and then proceeding on to their Raid after. Dont even see a need to reschedule, much less cancel. My post was to make sure that people who were going knew what to expect.

Nah...not gonna try to resched. The whole purpose was to get together for my RL birthday and have some fun trying to take down an Uber mob and see if I could get Big Vae a BoC and maybe get some peeps some upgrades. Maybe one day I will feel up to rescheduling it, but have no plans on it at this point in time.

Vae. The Storms raid requires no start time. Schedule your raid, CDD will help, and when everything is all said and done we'll see how much interest there is in the Storms raid after. Would MUCH rather celebrate your RL birthday with you - we can do Storms any time.

Seriously - reschedule this one for your birthday and post it again here. I'll leave a footnote on the Storms event that it will happen after your raid if there's still interest. We would have absolutely no problem doing it this way.
