Wayfarers of Veeshan

Hail WoV,

I come to you all with a task that I am sure can be completed if we can work together. There is a spell I would like to acquire that drops in The Deep off a lvl 63 mob (hence the post on this forum). Here is a briefing on the task I am asking of you:

Mission: Take down the target and distribute high level loot to those who assist in the fight. Acquire the level 60 spell: Elnerick's Electrical Rendering. And most importantly, Give Wayfarers of Veeshan an opportunity to flex her muscles and show how powerful she really is.

Needs: At least 3 strong groups of level 55+, well balanced, and more importantly dedicated. This task will more than likely take a long time to complete. For those of you who would like to help, I am going to have to ask that you obligate yourself for at least 4 hours (minimum). The Deep is a high level zone and it is going to take us a while to fight to our objective, and it will not be possible for others to join later to take your place if you have to leave.

Time: I would like to attempt this on Wednesday, August 13th around 8 P.M. EST, but this may change depending upon who can be there at that time.

I know this is asking a lot from people, but I think that we can accomplish this because I believe we are strong enough now to accomplish these kinds of raids. If you are interested pls Private Message me and let me know if you can be apart of this event. Lacries always says, "Now is a great time to be a WoV," and I could not agree more. We are getting stronger by the hour, and I personally feel it is time to show this strength. I hope that many of you will step up to this challenge so we, as a group, can acknowledge to ourselves what we can accomplish if we put our minds to it. Furthermore, you will be helping a guildy obtain a very illusive Spell and most of the loot is quite nice for all classes .

Hello again WoV,

First I would like to thank the people who posted their knowledge about the Thought Horror Overfiend. After looking into things a little more, agree with Kat and Notnilc that this task may be a bit much for us right now (Thanks you 2). Maybe I jumped the gun and should have thought things out a bit more before posting. However, my deasire to acquire this spell is great and I am not deterred so easily. I have been aware that this spell is researchable, and I am confident I can do so if I possess the runes. Previously, I did not know where to hunt to obtain them, but thanks to Notnilc's post I now have that information.

Finally, I agree with Kahmon and I think that a weekend would be the best time to set up a hunt although I am not sure if an all our raid is necessay. Nevertheless, I would like to get a hunt together for Cazic Thule on August 16th (anytime in the afternoon). Please let me know what you all think and let me know who would like to help.

I followed the links to see that the spell Vespidae wants now drops off at least 3 other mobs.

Lord Seru would require lots of work just to reach, let alone kill.
Emperor Ssrazhza same thing.
Both of these I plan to begin leading the early steps for once my journey to 1750 is complete.
The 4th mob is a mini boss in Ssra Temple who we may also come accross someday while raiding there.

im totally up for CT raid. will do whatever i can to make sure im there. im dying for a pair of bofs and will loot them someday soon. any experience there can only help my quest.

Oh BTW, just thought I might add that I've seen Rune of the Tempest drop off a named madman (lvl 50 I think) that wanders the desert area in Sro. It's also No Drop so I don't think you'll see it being sold in bazaar

Just for clarification purposes, the only rune I have left to obtain to make this spell is the Rune of Zehphry. A couple of other runes that would help me out tremendously are Rune of Scintillation (which I believe only drops off the High Priest in SSRA) and Rune of Coruscating (which drops off the named vampire Neritus Grolden in Tenebrous). The rune of Zephry I believe is the one that drops in CT and Veksar.
