Neh'Ashiir will disappear and reappear aggro. Kill her. She a level 53 wizard that casts wizard spells such as gravity flux. She has a few complete healing potions which can be interrupted with stun spells. Loot a Page from Neh'Ashiir's Diary.

Go back to the Pond in the Emerald Jungle and give the Diary to the Sentinel Spirit.

Spirit Sentinel says 'So, the truth is found! Nak mourned over the loss of his child instead of relishing the blessing of his god, Cazic-Thule. His wife and the High Scale then abandoned him in disgust, but even that was an aftereffect of what caused the king to turn his back on his faith. The child is the key! Goto fear and obtain Tear. I have that already


Bring the Child's Tears to Rak'Ashiir. He will immediately aggro you. He is best killed with mage fire pets and clerics healing them. The more pets, the quicker he dies.

Give the Scale the the Spirit Sentinel.

If we have 3 mage fire pets (more the better). And 3 or more clerics/ healers

The plan here is to position the mage fire pets next to Lord Rak.
When I do turn in, Rak will AE 2K.
I will die.
The AE will agro the fire pets and the fight will comence.
Rak goes down.
I get rez if dead.
I loot and gate out to the pond where I have bound myself in advance.

This should be really easy compared to the dragons and other epic mobs we fight.
Just need to have the numbers and the right combo of classes.
And am i going to be the first Epic Shammy in the guild?

This is a day I dont normally play, but I'll try to make an exception. Should be able to swing it since I'm sure I'm giving up Friday's play time. Let me know if my 48 cleric can hang, I'd love to help you.

didn't go as planned nad didn't have the right ppl show up for it. we gave it a try and we did pretty good. It got a lil late for some ppl and we called it off.

Not at all the post I thought I'd see Horofaman. I found your comments towards the end very offensive. While your initiative in pursuing your epic is commendable, you lack of respect and appreciation of a guild backing you that you have only just joined disgusts me. I regret having backed you application to our family. And I will not be lending any aid to you in the future.

I usually keep my thoughts to myself. But ... I have to say I agree with Polusia. I think what was said was very wrong. We're a family and should be treated like one. Good luck on the rest of your epic ... but I won't be there to help you.

I really don't like seeing comments like this on our boards... They are far from typical.

Obviously something was said at this raid that has stirred up some emotions.

For the time being, i'd appreciate if we didn't turn this into a Flame war on our boards.. it won't be tolerated. Constructive comments are welcome.. and I'd appreciate if any officers that were present could post in the officers forum on what happened so we can work this out.

I am sorry but I hadnt signed up for this raid and actually didnt know it was tonight until horo sent me a tell less than half an hr before start and i was already helping some guildies. My apologies that I missed it but sounds like it didnt go well.

Since my younger brother was so rude last night I am now removing myself from the guild to make sure it never happens again. I am sorry for my brothers rudeness, and he is not going to be playing EQ for quite a while.

I'd like to thank the Wayfarers who came out in support of Horofaman last night. Unfortunately we were unable to achieve his goal, but I was proud of our effort. We worked together and showed the true spirit of our guild. I will be honored to hunt with any of you again.

Ok all, I have to say that I'm more ashamed that this was put into a public forum for all to read, than Horo's little frustrated slip. I have been there on every attempt he has made for his epic and and he has been more than understanding when we just could not manage to get the piece for him. I know of at least twice that we put him on the back burner after getting there. (sorry if I'm rambling but the drugs are kicking in).

Yes he slipped and apologized, even I have done that more than once in guild chat. Horo has been a great asset to the guild and is always willing to help out at a moments notice. He has been frustrated several times at getting epic pieces because people had to log.

And Horo if you quit the guild because of something you did not do yourself then that is the real shame in this. Change your passwords and don't let your brother play your toons anymore. Also I've just gotten use to you so lets not ruin a good thing Besides I want to watch you solo Cazel and die
