Thanks for sharing the screens Dorann... I have gotten back into playing very casually in EQ1 and noticed when I was downloading the client that EQ Next. It seemed a bit confusing but you helped clarify what's going on.

I'll probably give it a shot, but like you & your kids, my time will be limited to an hour here and an hour there.

SO just an update. I stopped playing as it was frustrating to get to a point only to have it wiped and then need to start over. I realize it was early "alpha" but considering I paid just over 50.00 for the "privilege" to test it I just had a bad taste in my mouth with the whole thing. I recently reinstalled it and I can tell you that 1. the stuff regular people are building with the system is nothing short of amazing. 2. the real reason for Everquest Next Landmark is nothing more than Sony getting the public to crowd(build) huge portions of their real game Everquest Next, and get the people doing it to pay Sony while doing it. I was amazed, people are building content, and paying to do it. Sony gets to use any content they really like in their new game and they do pay a small pittance to the people who created it. What a scam in my opinion.
