Did you get Birth of a Unicorn and Other Stories, Winde? If so, what did you think of it? As for something else to read, what kind of books do you like?

The best book I've read lately is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - it was so good I tried to slow down reading it so it wouldn't be over too soon.

Lost in Shangri-La by Mitchell Zuckoff.

@Rayah yes I am thru with Birth of a Unicorn and enjoyed it....and Thanks Alley I have seen that book... will be my next read now...and Haams will get that one next and Hunger Games (trilogy) are awesome I hated it when i was finished with them, each book picks up where the last one left off ..great read is cheaper if you get the trilogy I didn't know and I bought each book seperate like a 3.00 saving ...but trust me if you read the first one you will want the other 2.

I read all the Hunger Games books. To me they're kind of a mixture of 1984 and Lord of the Flies. Did you know they're making a movie of the first one?

no I had heard that but could never get confirmation whether it was true...would love to watch it and I never read Lord of the Flies

The book I referred to is an account of an incident that occured in New Guinea late in world war two. Isn't really in the same genre as the others being discussed, but it was very interesting.
