Wayfarers of Veeshan

Every time I try to open EQ, I get an error box that says "Connection Failure" "Could not establish a connection". Anyone else having this problem?

Sounds like your pre-patching patch application patcher couldn't connect to the patch server... (say that 10 times fast)

Are you using a router Surph? I had some problems with mine a while back and know a few things you could try.

No router. Was working fine last nite. Now I am getting the failure to connect message from both Everquest and Asheron's call. If you guys aren't then it must be my ISP giving me a problem. I will contact them and find out anyway. I can connect to the network just fine and to anything else I try...just not the games!

Games of this nature are always lookin for a "Routeable IP Address" if ur ISP or urself has configured their assignment of IP addy's wrong u will not be able to connect to any online games as they will be lookin for a type of IP address that they can send their packets of info to and if it isnt one of those types ,then it will give u that message.... as it thinks ur IP addy is not a "routeable" one so no info will be sent to it. Hope this helps.
