For those who care, what did you think of the finale?

Personally I very much liked it. Sure, there were some questions that went unanswered (particularly the numbers) but nothing that I can't live with. I give it an 8.5/10.

Since I don't have a TV, I had never watched Lost. Over the weekend I discovered that by being a member of Netflix, I can stream the first few seasons directly to my computer. I decided to watch the first one just to see what all the excitement was about.

Bad decision.

Bad decision in that you liked it and were hooked, or bad decision in that you didn't care for it?

Was anyone else as absolutely UNHAPPY with how LOST ended? More
questions were given...less answers....

Was the flash-sideways real? If everyone was dead, why
were the specific people in the church...such as Penny
who wasn't on Oceanic 815...or Walt and Michael weren't
there, but WERE on that plane....

My wife and I couldn't stop complaining about it for an hour
after it ended.

but also . . . I'm a person who reads the last few pages of a book to see what happens, so it's likely that I'll read spoilers soon anyway.

I agree Drexxell, absolutely hated the ending.

I had the same question Drexxel I didnt like it. It was drug out so long and there were more commercials than episode.

I can't watch the video at work, but I think I have seen it before (it's just a big long list of unanswered qustions, yeah?). I saw a response posted somewhere that I liked, maybe in the comments of that video, that listed all of the answers save a few which it listed as valid "this should have really been answered" questions. Obviously some questions in the video were more for laughs than serious, and I did still find it funny. I did particularly like the "Where is Kate's toy plane" since she did go through a lot of trouble to get it, but I'll just assume it's in her pocket.

I think whether or not you liked the finale was based largely on what part of the show gripped you more. If you were more interested in the island story then yes, you probably wouldn't like it so much since they left quite a bit unanswered. If you liked it more for the individual character stories then you probably liked it quite a bit.
