If you haven't disabled your custom UI then logging in will do one of three things:
* You will log in, your old UI will work, but you'll get the warning about incompatible UI files, and you'll (probably) be missing some of the new elements. (Despite their warnings, I suspect this is what most people will get).
* You log in and you get a more severe warning and the Default UI is loaded instead of yours. (Most likely your custom UI is missing elements that are considered mandatory).
* You log in and crash when you try to get to your character. In that case you can manually edit your INI files (sorry not sure which ones off hand) to switch it back to default. (Or just back it up for now and let EQ regenerate a new one while you fix your UI). Usually this is caused by your Custom UI having a modified EQUI.xml file which is now missing windows EQ is expecting. (Since the Merc windows are being added, if you use a custom EQUI.xml file, they'll need to be added in there, even if you are using the default Merc Windows)
In the first two cases, you can play/fix your UI and do /loadskin to reload your UI as you test changes. In the third case ,you need to fix the major crash first (Check UI_Errors.txt in your base EQ directory, it often has hints, even while fixing a semi-working UI), and then you can start the rest of the changes.
*PS: Hi everyone.
