Wayfarers of Veeshan

Well, I'm finally 40th ... and moving slowly toward 41+. I've gotten my 4th Coldain Shawl ... so the time has come to start raiding some of the "big boy" playgrounds in Velious.

Is anyone interested in trying to do an organized Raid in either Velks or Kael sometime in the near future?

There are a couple of us that need LOTS of crystalline threads from Velks (75 per person for one attempt for shawl) and want to do Kael for some more delicious Coldain faction (as well as any drops).

I would suggest to hang out at the zone line in Velks and camp the spiders. Even at level 40 you are still a sprout and might be cannon fodder as Ggnarl would put it...hehe But I could be wrong and if in the right group would be an asset to the group. I would recommend Kael at 45+....those giants are real meanies.

Hmmm, don't the chrystaline thread in Chrystal Caves work for that? Those spideys is more to the your level I think. Although I have never been to Velks yet, I had assumed they were higher level spiders. Surfeedar at level 40 can almost solo in CC. He just takes too much damage when he is the sole center of attention.

The threads for the 5th shawl are the ones that only drop in velks. They are farly common and drop in 2's, 3's & 4's. Most people in velks just let them rot. I got mine at level 41 by just running around the zone and looting rotting corpses. Took about 3 hours total over a few days to get all 75. Be sure to have See Invis up, and invis yourself when possible just to be safe.

I'll be happy to help with Velk's. Kael on the other hand we need some big guns with us (ie. 1 group minimum 50+) along with a group of lower lvls, and get use to no exp, this would be a item type raid.
