Wayfarers of Veeshan

Hey guys...I am trying to get EQ to work for me. As many of you know, I got a new laptop. I tried to download the software online and it was not working....that was in I think February or something...

Anyway I found my disks and got everything downloaded onto my computer last night. I created a free account to try it out and see if everything worked alright. Everything loads, however it is running very poorly (choppy, slow, kicks me to login screen a lot etc.) I am also getting some memory error message. My computer and graphics card are a lot better than Vdiann's Computer, however everything runs on his perfectly.... (he has xp.)

I do have vista and have the properties set to Windows XP SP2 as well as set to administrator...

I was going to surprise you all. hehe But, can not get the game to work for me.. I am posting this in hopes that someone can offer some assistance.

I do miss you guys and hope to see you in game soon!!

I'm pretty clueless on how this computer stuf works. I'm sure there are those who read these boards who can help though. Hope you get it fixed soon!

Hello!! Just wanted to let you guys know that Vdiann got it to work (after hours of trial and error). I guess I have to set the computer to run on one processor while I play the game...as well as run some program while I play....weird and annoying....but at least the game is working for me

I love my computer too!! I was zoning faster than everyone in my group last night and for those of you who have grouped with me know they would be waiting around for me to pop through.

It was nice to be back last night!! What a warm welcome back!! It was so nice to see so many old and new faces!!
