Time to sound like I have never played EQ before...Ok, so I've played this year and never gotten my screenshots to work, could someone help explain how they work (hit -) e.g. where they go to.

Depending on which expansion you started off with, they may be in a different spot than this, but on my computer it's
c: (or whatever your local disk is) > program files > everquest > screenshots

The minus key on the number pad is the default key for taking a shot.

They go in a subdirectory in the everquest directory called screenshots.

I think they default to the .bmp format but can be made to be saved as .jpg by editing the eqclient.ini file.

Ok, well it seems like only about half of my screenshots seem to actually come out into a real picture, while the other half cant be viewed. Any explaination?

Does each unviewable one have the same name but a different extension than the viewable ones?

ehh i think they are the same type, ill check right now....

yep they are all the same type, and same kinda of different names, but look just like the rest (eg. EQ0000000010.bmp, EQ0000000009.bmp)

I don't know why some would show and some wouldn't, in that case.

just change them to the right type
