No seriously, i may have said some of this to some of you before, i originally came to EQ not expecting to like it, and had planned to move onto EQ2 as soon as i was bored of this
Well the problem there is i liked EQ way more than i expected, and of course this is a good thing
However, it left me wondering what EQ2 was like, id seen the screenies, and heard the opinions (much of it biased form EQ1 players hehe), but finally it was too much i just had to try it for myself

And now i find myself liking EQ and EQ2 almost equally, but for very different reasons, i wont go into them here though

Also as most of you know im a SWG refugee, and though i hate what they did to swg, they did leave the space/flight sim mostly alone, and this was always fun to me, even if the ground-game sucks

So i now have Station Access, and can therefore play all 3 games

I have no intention of leaving EQ at all, but felt its jsut common courteousy to let you know
Since EQ2 is the newest toy in my toy box i will probably be playing it a little more than EQ1, at least til the novelty wears off

Of course now whichever game im playing, i always imagine i could be having more fun in one of the others lol

Thanks for the heads up, Isty. :) My personal feeling is that these are games, and this is leisure time, so the whole POINT is to maximize your play time and do whatever you have more fun at.

I also tried SW:G and EQ2 but I never played for more than the first month's trial. I was like you - when I was in one game I always wondered what was going on in the other, and if I camped and switched, I began thinking about the first one.

You will be missed Itsy have FUN no matter which game yuo are playing. I am sure that whenever you get to return to EQ on a regular basis some of the Wayfs wil be here. dont forget us(and who could?)

Well Isty sorry we won't see as much. Never got to group with ya, but when you are on send me a tell and I know at least one of my characters are in range. As Alle has stated a game is just a game, but there are real people on the other side of the characters and we will always be here waiting. Once a WOV always a WOV.

Aww thanks guys, but you made it sound like im leaving you, im really not, in fact i intend to play at least 1-2 hours of eq1 a day, but atm because eq2 is newer, it is my first choice, and you know how time flies, all of a sudden its time to go to bed and ive been in eq2 all night.... again

Anyways for Mytheria and anyone else wondering, im on Runnyeye server (a UK server), not sure i like how they segragate us by time zone/country but you can play on any server so long as you choose the reigion on the EULA (each time you boot the game up)
As a side note, nearly all my toons are called "ISTAsomething" so if you see an Ista its a good chance its me, though it might not be as i dont hold the copyright

Mord.... we've grouped before.... havent we? My memory isnt what it used to be, and tbh it used to be about as good as someone who is senile and has amnesia with a terrible weed habit :D
It is a good point though, i think i need to work on some more group-dependant toons in eq1, with my mains as Necro and Druid, im hardly ever LFG, hmm what really sucks without a group? maybe ill make one of those

Anyways, really not leaving you guys, id miss you all too much, i just need to get the "new toy" feeling worked out of my system
In fact i was on last night for an hour or 2, but a non guilded wizard toon, ill have to sign up some of my lower toons
