...in EQ these days? Still a lot of people playing?
Thought about renewing my account for fun to play a little casual EQ when homework and RL don't get in the way Only have expansions up to LDoN though, so I may not be able to go where the action is nowadays O,o

Anyway, could be fun to take a peek at EQ again, been quite some time since last time I renewed.. played a lot of DAoC and WoW in between, so I may not even have my chars, nor would anyone remember me I suppose..

They are returning. They merged the servers so there are more on each now.

Yea I noticed.. almost couldn't find Veeshan and nearly panicked Couldn't keep myself from renewing right after I posted here, but then my internet went down the drain (does that sometimes, nw admins out here are lazy and incompetent), so I didn't quite have time to see all the new stuff that's been added since last time I played.. looks like I have a bucketload of new things to get used to

EDIT: Definately a lot of stuff to get used to :p Found out I'm pretty much flat broke as well, could you refresh my memory as to which spots would be suitable for a L56 ranger or L52 bard (both in semi-decent equipment, bard a bit better than ranger) to farm for plats? Thought CC geo's perhaps.. but it's been so long, I don't know if anything's changed, or they added new and better spots, not newer than LDoN O,o.. any advice warmly welcomed

Not off hand I can't... I don't remember where I did my plat hunting. I've been farming shissar scales in SSRA and selling in the bazaar lately but the market has taken a dive.

Heya Vita Glad to see you again!

Was playing ranger a bit today - very strange new interface I think, and hotbuttons are great (although I would've liked to memorize spells on it too). As mentioned in the initial post, I've been playing a lot of WoW and DAoC since last time I played EQ, and the difference between those 3 mmo's really becomes visible after so much time away from one of them

Anyway, I'll try to be online again tonight, trying to get back the hang of it.
Should I remake a new application to join WoV if I wanted to do that, or how should I do it?
