Wayfarers of Veeshan

How very strange to be back here, sitting in my dorm room i thought I would go back here, since Z told me alley asked how I was.

Here goes.
When i started EQ i was 15? now I am 20, Im going to college to major in Graphic design or illustration, at one of the top 3 art schools in the nation. I never ever thought I would be here, nor did I think a silly online game, and who I met in it would carry over. nor did I think I would be telling a group of strangers for the most part this little fact that i found amuzing. oddly enough, here I am, I have bene through so much, wilderness, boarding school, moving to Rhode island, moving to maryland, going to college of all things, its so funny that a life like this is tied to so many, and theirs are the same journey as such.

True I had fun playing the silly game, leveling up, wasting hours laughing at funny conversations, but thats not the high point of it, its that in this little community, I feel almost as a home that Im coming back to.
the beauty seen here in the fact that a game could do this, is funny.

How are you all?
I pretty much got my taste of being uber that I wanted in Eq, in wow, and got sick of it. fast.
I made friends, lost friends, but in the end im still the same reka, (although he is now a paladin possesed by demons on a roleplaying server.) and a little wiser.

It's good to see your post. :) Your character is woven into the fabric of WoV, and it's always good to hear from a Wayfarer.

There are new names in guild chat, of course, but you would recognize many. WoV had kind of a low period when several departed for WoW, EQII, and other pursuits, but people are trickling back and our grand old guild is making a comeback.

It's good to hear from you Reka and I'm glad to hear that you are doing well in college.

As Alley has said, we've added new names to WoV and more, tho not necessarily to WoV, are coming back to the game.

Glad tosee you again even if it is only on the boards thouth we did not get to hunt together I still miss seeing that you are online and in game. it is good to hear that you are doing well. here is to hoping to see you ingame once again you are missed and this silly online game can help you make many friends that do care about you as a personI hope that life and colege take you exactually where you wish to go.
