It is a bit more "open" than the Nektulos that we're used to. Feels ... yeah, almost sterile, even though there are critters running around all over the place.

I've come to expect big improvements when a zone is retooled, and this honestly feels like a step backwards. I was very disappointed.

First impression, annoyed. Right down to the new graphic for the PoK book. I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking around but for a zone that I consider a 'pass-thru' it's inconvenient to be running into zone walls that were never there before.

I don't like the new look to it, BUT I think it does fit with the theme. If Layns has ben wreaking havoc in NF then that's probably what is left of it. In any case, I think the reason for the revamp has to do w/ it being an entrance to a new DoDH zone (Cosair or something, it's on the map). So maybe the darkness killed the life from the forest or something.
