Dragons of Norrath – Good Faction Quests / Missions (work in progress)
In order to start these Quests you need to have at least indifferent faction standing with the Keepers of Norrath, you can raise this faction in different ways:
1) You can do group missions with your friends
or 2) do single person alliance quest’s from the wayfarer’s camp in lavastorm.
Wayfarer’s Camp (loc positive 220 negative 44 - East of Nagafens Lair zone)
Wayfarers Mercenary Elanye will offer you single person quests
Wayfarers Mercenary Bitral will offer you single person quests
In order to get the quests hail the npc, and click accept on the quest you wish to undertake.
Also at the wayfarers camp is Wayfarers Mercenary Youra. When you complete any (good aligned) group missions you will receive a Norrath’s Keepers Token, this will automatically appear on your cursor, and you hand this into the aforementioned Mercenary, and this will raise your faction with the keepers of Norrath.
Norrath Keepers Camp (loc positive 3648 negative 530 – NW corner of lavastorm)
Kanetheus Forestwalker will offer you group missions for 3-6 people
Bianca Galgraith will offer you group missions for 3-6 people
Boldger Bristlebeard will offer you group missions for 3-6 people
Gordish Frozenheart I am unclear what he offers at this time
All of the above names apart from the last one (for the time being until unlocked) will reward you with a various amount of Radiant Crystals and a Norrath’s Keepers Token upon every successful completion of the mission you accepted.
The Radiant Crystals can be traded with other players or can be used to purchase items from the merchant at the camp; this is basically a more advanced LDoN points system. (At this time the Merchant is not in the game)
After completing a various number of the above quest’s and missions you will eventually become Indifferent faction with Norrath’s Keepers, and this will unlock further development with the Keepers of Norrath.
Gift of the Keepers
NOTE: REQUIRED LEVEL 65!
In order to progress from here you must first speak to Chieftain Relae Aderi, you do this by hailing him and following through the dialogue, he will send you to speak to Private Nylaen Kel’Ther, and he will assign you 3 quests.
Quest 1 – Greed of the goblins
Kill 11 Stillmoon Laborer’s inside the temple of Stillmoon
Quest 2 – Creating an antidote
Loot 5 Boiling Lavaspinner Bloods from Lavaspinner’s Lair
Quest 3 – Burning Arrows
Loot 5 Delvian Goblin teeth from Tirranun’s Delve
Upon completing each quest you shall receive approximately 40% aa exp and 220platinum and faction to the Keeper’s of Norrath, once you have completed all 3 you may go and hail Chieftain Relae Aderi once more, and he gives you more work to do, you then go and speak to Keeper Dilar Nelune, and he gives you a mission, for this you will need a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 6.
Mission 1 – Children of Gimblax
Note: REQUIRED GROUP AVG. LEVEL 67+!
Relae must have already told you that Gimblax plans to exact vengeance upon you for killing the goblins in the temple. We have learned roughly where this foul goblin is and highly recommend you find your way to him before he finds you.
Upon completing this mission you must go back to Chieftain Relae Aderi and hail him once more…. Congratulations you have now received 2 AA and the new ability Gift of the Keepers – Your devotion to Norrath’s Keepers grants you increased Statistics (+10 to all stats cap).
Valor of the Keepers - Must have Amiable Faction
After completing the above, I am sure you're hungry for more action!
To start of this part you must once again go and Hail Chieftain Relae Aderi, and he will send you to speak to Private Nylaen Kel’ Ther, when you speak to the private he assigns you 3 more solo quests.
Quest 1 – Turn the Tides of the Sand
Loot 7 Sandy Goblin Blood from the Stillmoon Temple
Quest 2 – Recover the Lost Map
Loot 8 Shredded Map Pieces from The Ascent
Quest 3 – Defend the Kirin Contact
Kill 9 Kirin’s in The Ascent
Again for each quest listed above that you complete you shall receive approximately 40% aa exp and 220platinum and faction. Once you have completed all 3 of the above you must go and speak to Chieftain Relae Aderi, and he will send you to speak to Keeper Dilar Nelune, this will open a new group mission Sickness of the Spirit (this is not needed to be completed for progression) he will also ask you to speak to Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor you will be offered an Event.
Event 1 – Calling of Emoush
You must hurry. The Dark Reign are slowly making their way deeper into Tirranun’s Delve. We have heard they seek a magic that the delve goblins possess that allows them to create a great, sentient, and dangerous dervish of stone. This dervish is a danger to everyone in the delve, but if the Dark Reign are able to capture and harness the dervish, they will most certainly use it in the army they build. You must find a way to put an end to this magic posthaste!
Maximum Players : 24
Upon completing this event you will loot a stone from Emoush and go back to Chieftain Relae Aderi and hand it to him, upon the hand you shall receive another 2 AA and the new ability Valor of the Keepers (+250 hp / mana / endurance) You will also receive your new class lvl 69 spell.
Embrace of the Keepers
To continue with the progression you once again hail Chieftain Relae Aderi and he sends you back to Private Nylaen Kel’Ther, who once more assigns you 3 more quests.
Quest 1 – Snowfoot Revenge
Kill 10 Snowfoot Goblins in The Ascent
Quest 2 – Protect the Waters
Loot 5 Purified Nest Water in Stillmoon Temple
Quest 3 – The Sacred Scrolls
Loot 7 Ancient Scroll of Wisdom from Thundercrest Isles
Once again upon completing each Quest you shall receive approximately 40% AA and 220p and faction.
Again you must now go and hail Chieftain Relae Aderi, and he will send you to Keeper Dilar Nelune this will have opened another 3-6 person mission History of the Isle, and he will also ask you to speak to Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor, and this will have opened up 2 more Events which appear to both needed for the next part of the progression.
Event 1 – Trial of Perseverance
There are still more parchments and tomes we wish to lean about in Stillmoon Temple. Some of these documents may provide the Dark Reign with the ability to bring ruin to the world. You must use your strength, stamina, and wherewithal to uncover these scrolls and secure them before the Dark Reign can get their hands on them.

Event 2 – Volkara’s Bite
Deep in the caverns of the Lavaspinner’s Lair is the queen of the spiders. Her name is Volkara and hour by hour she builds her army of lavaspinners that weave and kill by spinning webs as hot and deadly as the lava that surrounds them. She has taken to the flavor of the blood and flesh of mortals and she must be stopped. You must go there in the name of Norrath’s Keepers and Firiona Vie to stop the flow of blood in her caves.
Maximum Players: 42
Once you have completed these 2 raids, you may go and speak to Keeper Dilar Nelune and he gives you one more group mission.
Mission 1- History of the Isle
We've uncovered documents that lead us to believe that the history of Thundercrest Isles is hidden in the walls deep within the confine of one of the islands. Within these walls are several coves where the very secrest of Yar'Lir, the storm dragon, are stored. If you're ever going to be able to see Yar'Lir, you're going to need to read what these walls say..
Now the above 2 events and the mission can be done in any order. Once you have completed the 2 events you can hand in reward to Chieftain Relae Aderi to receive a character flag. Once you have proven that you have done all 3 tasks you must hail Cheiftan Relae Aderi to receive 2 more AA and the new ability Embrace of the Keepers - Your devoted to Norrath's keepers increases the number of mystical effects that can affect you at once (+5 buff slots)
Part 4 - Progression
To continue on the progression path I am guessing that you need at least kindly faction, I am guessing because im upto warmly and was able to carry on with the progression. So again I hailed Chieftain Relae Aderi and he sends me to Lieutenant Ekiltu Verlor, who has 2 new missions I need to do.
Mission 1 - Guardian of the Sands
There have been several sightings of a massive guardian that has risen in the sand gardens of Stillmoon Temple. This guardian has been very protective of the area and we have lost contact with several scouts that were sent to gather more information. The scouts that have survived the attacks report that the guardian is allied with the sand goblins in the region. It is simply too dangerous to continue our exploration of the temple as long as that guardian is around. We need you to remove it.

Mission 2 - Goblin Dojo
It is peculiar that the goblins in Thundercrest Isles have issued a challenge to Norrathians. As much as we dont often bend to threats and arrogance, we are curious what the outcome of this challenge might be -- and its better that we find out and be prepared for it, rather than the Dark Reign. Be on your guard. It could very well be a trap.

You loot the quest item from the above missions, a Meditation stone (goblin Dojo), Quintessence of Sand (Guardian of the Sands) and report back to Chieftain Relae Aderi, and hand him the 2 quest items, upon doing that he will update your character flags, however you do not receive a new ability for this...
Power of the Keepers
To carry on with progression you once again hail Chieftain Relae Aderi, and he presents you with the following lore.
You have done a great service to Norrath's Keepers. What you have learned may have given us the edge we need over the Dark Reign. They are forever sending spies and doing all they can to undermine our efforts to bring peace and harmony in Norrath. While you have risen in our estimation since we first set eyes upon you, you would like to put your [dedication] to the test before we admit you as a Keeper.
Lanys T`Vyl and her Dark Reign lackeys grow stronger each day and there is little time to waste. Areha Burina has some extremely challenging work for you, particularly a meeting with the dragon of [storms].
We expect that Yar`Lir, the storm dragon, is exceedingly powerful and unique. We have learned from you and the scrolls obtained from the temple, that Yar`Lir is the dragon responsible for casting a veil of magic and storms over the Nest to protect it from view and keep it hospitable for the wyrms. You must go to see her, but I would expect her to be none-to-pleased to see you there and you will likely need to [defend] yourself. However, we would not be the keepers of these lands if we did not at least attempt to approach her civilly.
Should she you attack you and you are forced to draw your weapons, know this -- killing her will disrupt the veil she casts here. This might be the opportunity that the Dark Reign looks for, but we will contend with that from here. There is more, we believe, as we haven't found where most of the dragons eggs are kept in the Nest. This is why we are sending you -- to learn what you can. Also, if you can, retrieve one of Yar`Lir's fangs. Areha Burina will lead you to her..
Mission 1 - An end to the Storms.
Make your way to the isles in the sky. There you will find the great tempest dragon. We want to show a hand of good faith, but do proceed with care. We are almost certain this will be a hopeless mission and you will more than likely be required to defend yourself. Should she wish to see the end of the Norrathians for invading her home, then you must do what is necessary to prevent it.

Loot: Yar'Lirs Fang
(note for this fight: We had to do the fight three times, because it bugged on us first two times. For whatever reason, sometimes the named will agro to one of the adds. Normally he is rooted in the center, but for whatever reason, when he agros to an add... wherever the add is at he will warp to. First time he warped to the outside of the arena for us, and the second time he warped to the ceiling. Just be careful and I suggest fighting the adds in the center just in case it happens to you.)
Maximum players: 54
Upon defeating Yar'Lir, you will loot Yar'Lirs fang, and run back to lavastorm to see Chieftain Relae Aderi, hand in the fang to him to receive another 2 AA and a new ability Power of the Keepers (Your devotion to Norrath's Keepers increases the chance that your spells and melee attacks will have a critical effect).
Part 6 - Progression
When you are ready to continue you again hail Chieftain Relae Aderi, and he gives you the following Lore.
As we feared, Yar`Lir was not kind to us, but it is to be expected. This fang will be treasured and protected while our researcher study it. It is not time to dawdle though. I'm sure you're already aware that the death of Yar`Lir caused a great disturbance in the Nest. Each time the storm dragon's magic is interrupted, the Nest and resting place of the eggs of the Nest's dragons become darker and we're not sure why. In order to learn more, please talk to Dilar Nelune and Ekiltu Verlor. They have new work for you -- to investigate a curse in the Nest and to learn about a dark drake by the name of Ju`rek. You will need to bring me proof of your success.
Mission 1 - Origins of the Curse
According to reports from our preliminary scouting expeditions, we believe that someone, or something, unleashed a curse within the Nest shortly before our soldiers first arrived. Venture into the Nest and see if you can uncover any clues as to the nature of this curse.
Once you have completed the above group mission go hail Chieftain Relae Aderi for a character flag to record your status (this should flag the entire group. I received the character flag even though I wasn't the person that got the task. The mobs in there are all red/yellow con and hit very hard but give great exp. Think RS level).
Event 1 - The Curse of Ju'rek (not completed at this time)
You must travel into the Nest and learn as much as you can about the corruption of the place. There are a number of drakes in the caverns of the nest that have been twisted somehow. We want you to look for a drake that has been rumored to be altered so significantly that it has a unique magic. Go learn more about it and kill it if you can.
Maximum Players: 24
Raid is fairly easy until you get to the named. My guild ran two of them at the same time, and both ended up with the victory, but one raid had to run back to rez up corpses and loot. The hard part about it is just the adds, they come and they come in numbers, so be sure to have mezzers ready willing and able. Loot from the trial was pretty good as well (we received a 45% haste ring and I saw someone else received a really nice qoa neck).
The next task that you get, is a 54 person raid to the nest, where you will take on the newest dragon - Vishimtar the Fallen. The fight is very hard and no guild that I know of has beaten it yet, so will update when I find out what happens.
