Has anyone else watched this show on A&E? The guy's a "street magician" (ala David Blaine) but his stunts, especially levitation, are of a magnitude that pretty much would make the man the most respected illusionist in the world (if, in fact, he's ACTUALLY doing these illusions the way the show portrays...in public, no spottable 'gear' around him).
Having said that, I'm convinced that the "gear" needed to levitate this guy, IN PUBLIC to heights of 3-4 feet above the ground would be so large as to be impossible not to spot by the crowds gathered around him.
I'm convinced the entire show is fake with the "public crowds" being nothing more than paid extras/actors sworn to secrecy.
This isn't a David Blaine "2 inches off the ground" illusion, where the actual mechanics of how it is done are debatable (and, if you look hard enough, are actually available on the net). I have, sorry to say, closed my mind on the remotest possibility that this guy has ever, truly levitated himself in public the way his tv show claims.
However, I respect you all enough to ask if anyone can re-open my mind with a plausable theory. Am I dead-on that this whole show is a fake, or is there a real way you can have a crowd surround you, while you levitate 3 feet into the air without any spottable gear?
