War! The Ry'Gorr Chieftain and dwarven traitors have been slain by the mysterious High Elf outlander, Orionpax, but a phantom menace arises.
Dire for the dwarves, the forces of Rallos Zek have discovered the secret dwarven home of Thurgadin with plans to slay or enslave every last Coldain.
Dain Frostweaver IV, with what little time he has before the invasion, has assembled his most trusted generals to secure the perimeter of Thurgadin. But with the news of a mighty giant army forming under the command of a wretched warlord named Narandi, the Dain has asked Orionpax to recruit a vast mercenary army strong enough to repell the forces of Kael once and for all...

I'm working on my final Coldain Ring! This one requires a giant war (no pun intended) that will need
at least 5 full groups of people lvl 50+ to do. (And definitely the more the better).
I would like to schedule this for next Saturday, August 13th at 11am central. This is typically the time slot for when we run a ring war. However, I know a lot of people have different schedules. So I would like to know if there is a better time for us to arrange this? This cannot be done without a lot of people, so the Dain has asked me to not only recruit my fellow guildmates, but as many of your trusted friends as you can get as well.
For those who cannot remember or have never done a ring war this is how it works:
The war takes place in front of Thurgadin in the Great Divide. I do a turn in and the entire zone despawns. Over a series of about 10 minutes, wave after wave of giants and dwarves begin to spawn all over the Spires, Thurgadin, Wurm Caves, and Tizmak Caves.
Now the fun begins. The giants begin wave after wave of attacks. Their goal is to kill the dwarf in front of Thurgadin. Our goal is to kill every last one of them. There are three major waves each having about 3 or 4 minor waves.
A major wave decides what level the giants who attack are -the first wave has the lowest level giants, the last one has the highest level giants. A minor wave is a series of 4-8 giants of the respective major wave. They will spawn in 3 different places throughout the zone and can go in 5 different directions to Thurgadin.
When the last wave is killed, Narandi the Wretched spawns. When he dies I turn in his head for the ring. Any named Coldain that survive the fight also provide additional goodies for distribution to the 'mercenaries.'
The entire process takes about 2-3 hours.
Note that you will be killing giants and walking around dwarves. So those unfriendly to the Coldain have a specific place they will need to stay to avoid the Coldain aggroing them.
