I don't know when the guild was started, but I began playing EQ in February of 2000 and joined WoV not too long after that.

Rogier probably could give us a more exact date.

I believe I joined WoV December 1999 or Jan 2000 and the guild had been together for just over a Month.. I may be a bit off on that. Lacries and Rogier would both have a better Idea as they were the ones that decided to invite me.

the exact date that the guild was founded was Nov 30, 1999.

Im not playing EQ anymore ..playing EQ2 these days on the Butcherblock server.

That would be correct Kraznir. We were talking about it for about a month before that, preparing a charter, guild rules, creedo, stuff like that, before we took the plunge. It's interesting that you (i.e. Lacries, Kraznir) all still visit, after all those 5+ years. How many years would that be in EQ years?

I think Feb '99 was either when EQ started beta testing or when it went live, I can't remember. I would have to search through old emails, which I might not have anymore, to figure that one out.

I remember grouping up with Irodanis and Scorpboo back in North Ro against the Dervish Cutthroats with Lacries or one of her alts and maybe another Wayfarer. Shortly after that they were both invited. Iro moved through the ranks becoming our Leader and elder. Who is Scorpboo, you ask? Scorpboo stayed on for awhile, left for some Camelot Realm, came back for awhile with his wife/girlfriend then I lost track of him.

Anyway, this is a nice reunion. Good to see/hear from you Kraznir and Lacries. Wouldn't it be neat to hold a Wayfarers of Veeshan family reunion and invite past and present guildies?

Hey, Rog, good to see ya! We were about to count YOU as one of the past Wayfarers. Glad to see you're still with us. :)

Feb 1999 was Beta 4 ... Live was March 16 1999.

Lacries was born in October 1999.....and Rogier...it was Lacries that was your constant sidekick back in those days. It wouldn't be for a long while before Piliko (who swooned at Irodanis, for some crazy reason) would be born, then later Cattikie (I had to have a gnome in the bunch), and then finally Kamvenya (the bestest Inkie!). There were other baby alts that have remained babies and will not see beyond where they are now.
