Wayfarers of Veeshan

First impression: LOTS of friendly people. I got driveby clairvoyance and steeloak in the first two minutes. Many shouts welcoming us to the server.

A little info, my shared plat and items made it though the transfer fine. I did not have any chars created on Luclin though. I have also had all my names go through the transfer too . Never know maybe someday I will be back.

Whew! Same o'l Norrath. Was afraid Luclin would be Bizarro-Norrath. You know, gnomie warriors and barb necro's. Or at least that the doors might open in the opposite direction.

I was farming in Gunthak and in addition to finding a great group of mid-30s there willing to sell me all their tinker-loot stuff, I had a 61st level shammy follow me all over the beach, laying about 20 separate buffs on me. I was super necro for a while there.

In PoK (with 222 people....oy!) I /ooc'd whether gnomes ruled the world on Luclin server the way we did on Veeshan. There was an immediate chorus of jokes, and jibes, and of course a few gnomes rallying to the cry...overall, a general good sense of humor.

And my empty toolboxes in my shared bank made it through fine. I was really freaked out for a second because I couldn't move besides spinning in place...then when I tried to jump and couldn't, I realized that I'd taken every pp I had out of shared bank and put it on myself for safe keeping...hehe. We gnomes can't carry more than a few pennies at a time before getting encumbered.

I raided with Five Rings last night, and that was the most fun I've had in a long time, even under the time I was a CD-applicant.

They have a sense of humor. One thing that CD doesn't really have.

And I was welcomed with open arms into their guild as an applicant, even though I have an "of Veeshan" tag on my name.

Once the morons settle down, I think this will be a good thing for our servers.

Now if we can only get the name Veeshan back

I havent been able to find many Luclin people on my level.Over all they seem to be nice.Most of the guilds are family types according to one of the Luclin people I grouped with.
