Well... I'm getting bored again and considering to renew my EQ account.

How's EQ1 these days.. anyone left still playing?
Atm I'm still playing dark age of camelot, but with the latest expansion (in EU atleast, US has a newer one), Trials of Atlantis, it's more like work than actual having fun and enjoying myself. Having to farm artifacts, farm 3 scrolls to activate the artifact, get credit for the artifact for the character that needs it, then activate and go xp the item!! from 0-10. After getting 26+ artifacts spread across 5 characters I think I've had my fair share of them and I need a break from it. Besides while doing artifacts one also has to go do master lvls.. that's 10 skills you get, by completing 10x10 quests, where you more or less need a zerg for all of them and atleast 5+ hours straight per ML. Not so fun anymore

So enough babbling.. how are you guys, and what's happening?

Still plenty of folks in EQ1, but no denying that there've been plenty of exits for "greener pastures". We've seen the deaths of Nagafen and Lady Vox multiple times in the last 4 months, a few new epics, and with the newest DoN expansion, there's new zones to explore. Come join the fun

I'm kinda having problems reactivating my account. Installed EQ and patched everything today, but when I type in station name and password, it says it's incorrect, and when I try to retrieve it with email and birthdate on sony web, it says that there's no matches with the information.

Tried mailing Sony about it, but the email was invalid.. does anyone here know who I can mail for help?
I really hope that the account hasn't been deleted due to a too long period of inactivity :S

i think its after 6 months or so that they deactivate accounts .. if so .. you can always take zunas if you want a cleric and jsut gera her but not have to go through all the levels again .. i think she is up to ldon only though

Well the mail got through after all, I got a reply and they said what info they needed. Didn't have all the info because I moved and changed bank etc, but I hope they have enough.

It's most likely more than 6 months ago I played last time, but I've had a 1 year break before, and didn't lose the account back then.. besides they wouldn't delete the whole account and station name would they? O,o

Otherwise who's this Zunas?

To my knowledge, Sony has never deleted an account for inactivity. They've never removed characters before, except for the recent server mergers ...

Glad that you'll get it straightened out Vita!

It seems they can't restore my station name or password unless I provide the first and last 4 digits of the original credit card.. a credit card I don't have any longer because I changed bank.

So sadly it seems my account is gone for good

that should be possible to find out...if you dont have an old statement, try getting a copy of your credit report (big brother forgets nothing)...it'll contain the account numbers of all the cards you ever had

at most, it'll cost 9 or 10 plat and you can get it online from any of the major credit reporting companies
