Grats Dure Yeah it was pretty fun and enjoyed sharing my first time in that part with someone I know.

It WAS a pretty mean fight as there are 8 mobs in with the Emp and only 4 of them can be mezzed.

To add to what Vae said for those that don't know. The 8 spawns in the room with the Emperor are insta-respawn. So they cannot be killed until the Emperor is dead.

After the Emperor is dead, then the 8 mobs will not respawn until the entire room repops days later.

So you have to have 4 perma-mezzed, and the other 4 tank-mezzed while everyone else is whacking or casting on the snake that is normal-weapon immune (if you want to do melee damage, you need a Bane weapon).

I've done the fight twice. Got pretty bored near the end keeping my mob mezzed for 15-30 minutes.

Emp is the most boring fight in Everquest , done it over 10 times and VT is just as borin when doin the cycle , Coh to this spot, kill then coh to another , clear all yard junk on way to next named ..... So glad i am done with everquest for awhile .

I find EQ just as fascinating as the first day I played it, and I can't WAIT to kill the emperor.

We've done the shawl walk maybe a dozen times by now, and I still get a kick out of it. I remember the first time Kahmon took us traipsing across Iceclad for his, and it was a blast. It still is.
