You know Durezil, guess your kinda right in a way...I do want to see some other things from the game. Everyone does. As for saying I 'would never leave', I do believe that I stated "I had no intention'. I could be wrong though. As for leaving because of an RL friend, horse hockey, he asked me to apply to the very first Guild I ever wanted to be in.

Alle, I did not post a goodbye to the Officer forum, because I HATE goodbyes. Being in the Navy, I have had to say them too many times. I prefer a clean break, but that is not what happened. Looking back, I would probably change that and have posted to the officers.

Drexx, I think you hit the nail on the head. I knew people were going to be hurt by me leaving but did not think it would be as bad as it is

Bten, I thank you and Epi very much. You two have been the only Wayfs so far to just say "GL Vae and take care". Thanks.

As for ever truly leaving WoV, I would hope that no one really thinks that will happen (that was the reason I left my Druid in the Guild) as Vasilia only sits 8 feet and 1 and 1/2 inches away from where I sit while playing EQ.

I truly hope that WoV reaches and exceeds any goals it has. I KNOW you can, I have no doubts about that and never did. But I feel that it is just time for Big Vae to move on and I am sorry if that decision has caused hurt feelings. After all, I am still only a few keystrokes away.

Just cause this whole post seemed odd for me reading this and, for this time of year, a tad sad. I just felt I had to put in my two cents here, warranted or not.

When CDD disbanding. Largely, due to my own inability to keep it going with time restrictions I had and such, I wanted to find a new guild. Being a level 65 cleric who had played for the past 2 years and with my social skills, I do know quite a few people in EQ. I chose WoV because everyone here seems helpful and friendly with a very close bond. I read Vae's posts and Durezil's post and it reinforces that image for me. WoV is more that just a guild out there. It is a home for many where strong friendships have been formed and a family built. Being a family and as close as you all are, it hurts when one of those in the family leaves abruptly, but I hope in time these wounds will heal. I bet this is truly hard on Vasalia. I am very encouraged by what I see in WoV. I love being able to log in and being able to group with guildies. I've really missed that since Skrunch left. I have had a blast seeing new sites such as SSRA Temple and am looking forward to more adventures in the future. We've been doing things almost weekly - granted I haven't been able to attend much - so I was confused about what events weren't happening. There was and is constantly stuff on the calendars. *shrugs*

It's hard when people leave. I truly miss those who left EQ to go to WOW or EQ2 and when CDD disbanded, it was tough as well, but I have and will continue to keep in contact with them all. It's part of being a family and some people just needed to leave the nest.

Vaeuryte: Good luck in your endeavors. I do wish you well, but I think you are going to miss out on some truly awesome things to come. After all, you now would have a solid cleric rotation, a high level rogue and more and more upcoming tanks. You are also had the most awesome cleric I have seen in game with Vasalia. KoE may be nice, but they don't have the heart that this guild seems to have nor will they miss you as much as this guild does if you ever choose to leave in the future.

the name of this guild is "wayfarers of veeshan" ,wayfarers means travelers ,many of us have traveled veeshan with and without a wov tag but will always be wov at heart, and when wov calls for help many un tagged people show up to help ,so in reality no one ever really leaves
