I nolonger have the computer i was using when i was playing everquest.
I nolonger have the disk's for everquest.
I WANT TO START PLAYING AGIAN!!!!!

Do i have to buy all the disk's agian to do so?
can i borrow them from someone who has the them download and reactivate my account?

I don't think borrowing the disks would be the answer - you have to use the account key to load them, and that's already registered to the owner.

I've seen somewhere that you can get the original trilogy free - look on the Omens of War website.

Yep borrowing would be the best ... however they've also just released the Everquest: Platinum edition, which contains everything but Omens of War. Original to Gates of Discord. Think I saw it for $29.99 or something.

I think you can also d/l for free the trilogy which would get you old world, kunark, and velious until you can get your hands on the rest of the discs.

I have read that all you now need is the original EQ disk and you can d/l everything else. However, Shogi tried to do just that not long ago and it would not even bring up the patcher. However, you can borrow the disks because the keycode was a one time thing in the beginning of creation that once used is forever linked to the user account. So, just borrow the disks, then download all of the patchers, purchase the expansions you are missing via digital download and your all set!

If you have the original EQ and you know where to get the patcher program you can just patch all the files needed.

That said, I don't know where to get the patcher.

You can download the patcher .

All you need to do at that point is put it in an empty folder and let the patcher download the entire game.

No CDs required.

Obviously, an active account is required.

As someone who has left and came back, you CAN borrow the disks. You do not need your original acct key. when you log into the game with your original log in, it has everything that was resigtered.
