Well, I've not done much with Vex Thal in a while, so I would like to get something started up again. I think we should concentrate on getting some groups working Ssra and finishing up the shards that we need.

First, I need anyone who wants to participate to make sure that you have your shards marked on the roster. I'll be using that as my guide for Where to go based on who needs what.

It looks like we really need to work on Akheva and Ssra shards the most. Followed by Fungus Grove and The Deep.
At this point, I think we can consider all of the other shards single groupable and won't schedule VTI events for those locations.

So, where would you like us to venture for our next shard trip?

It seems at this point the deep is pulling ahead however I am a 62 ranger and considered the deep to be soloable. Personally I would rather see a more difficult target for a guild event. Ofcourse this is just my personal opinion.

What happens if I take both the red and the blue pill at the same time?

The area of the Deep where the shards drop didn't seem soloable to me. It took all the resources of a full group of mostly 65s to get shards from there.

There is an area on the east side on the south side of the bridge (ie don't cross it) where I was able to get my shard grouped with a 2-boxing beastlord and cleric.

Voted for SSRA, one thing about getting the shards from here, we stand a chance of getting more "Strange Green Metal" for the weapons needed.

I've recieved some additional information from a Vex Thal key holder. It was stated that almost ALL of these are practically one groupable at this point. However, there are some targets in Akheva and Ssra that are not one groupable, that we would HIGHLY benefit from doing.

We need Glowing Orbs, and for that, we'll need to clear to and kill the holders of these Orbs. We've done one already in Ssra and I'm positive that we can do more than that.

We need keys in Ssra. We should be able to secure keys as we get more Emp Ring components. This will allow us to other portions of Ssra for more Orbs et al. We also need green metal (Shissar bane wpns) and the shards in Ssra.

We will need assistance with the Emperor. We in WoV, as capable as we are, cannot do the Emp alone. We'll need far more people and organization for that fight than anything we've done to date.

ive seen the emperor done a few times with a necro friend .. the necro would pull the mob across the zone once they have a clear path and then fd where the main tank is .. everyone stand behind the emporer to avoid his aoe and the main tank has two to three healers on him .. all players must use non aggro weapons as his aggro is easy to get and the mt spam stuns or taunts to ensure holding of aggro.. usually what i ahve seen dnoe is that one necro that is mainl y not in use is left right at spawn area andlogged only for the death of the emporer .. ofcourse wether that is possible with us or not erally doesnt make a difference.. if you need help from other guilds to attempt it why not call honorable few .. i think they have an agreement with two otehr guilds that they all raid together in planes and can possibbly help out i think it may be another guild but pretty sure its honorable few..

Okies...just took down Va'dyn in Akheva tonight for some friends. There was 7 of us. 65 Warrior, 65 chanter, 65 Monk, 60someting Druid, 2 65 clerics and a 65 shammy. Va'dyn dropped a very nice Bard only sword , a (Grats to Dethbecomsme on that drop, and a .

Was a pretty easy fight, even though towards the end, the clerics were about OOM. Va'dyn CAN be single pulled once you get the mobs from around him, the monk was pulling so made that MUCH easier. There were two that we had to deal with, about 100K hp each and both dropped shards (Grats to Vaeuryte and Vasilia on those).

IRT Va'dyn, mob has about 600K hp and a pretty decent regen. Took us about 15 mins or so to take down. One cleric was CHing Big Vae, Vas was keeping Supernal Elixir on Big Vae and shammy was casting Quiscience (sp?) as needed. Was a fun fight and well worth it Va'dyn CAN be mezzed and rooted, but NOT snared. He flurries pretty good and Enraged at about 10% health, maybe a little lower.

His spawn is about 2.5 to 3 days and with two solid groups of Wayfs, would prolly go down faster. In the room we fought him in, there is a little corner alcove that we pulled him to, to avoid more adds than we got. The biggest concern I would have is having the healers to cover the MT and backup healers to handle anyone else that needed. There WERE adds as we fought Va'dyn and Dure was able to get those mezzed.

Overall was a blast and learned what I needed to know about one of the Orb boss mobs.
