Wayfarers of Veeshan

I intend to spend Tuesday and Friday evening (June 29 and July 2) in the Crypt of Dalnir for a quest to obtain A Visceral Dagger for Veloquin, my 47 SK. I usually log on around 6:30 est. The zone is listed as 25-45 I believe. Any interested in helping out are welcome to come and have some fun doing a little dungeon delving.

There is no official meeting time or place. To get to Dalnir, you take the OT stone and run to east wall to zone to Warslik Woods. In Warslik you run north to a tunnel entrance near the beach on a hill. This can be difficult to find so feel free to ask me for help in game if you are coming. People can come and go throughout the evening. You can easily join at any time.

If you have any experience in getting around this dungeon please post any tips you may have.

Durezil,
*IF* this portion of the Greenmist can be MQ'd, then you may have my Visceral Dagger. Although I worked my tail off to get it at level 39 (see earlier threads), it is now, unfortunately, obsolete

It might very well be easier for me to raise my Iksar faction for the turn in than it would be for you to do this godawful quest.

Based on the , you need to hand in the Visceral Dagger and your Crusader Khukri.

I dont see any reason why it couldn't be MQ'd except for faction.

Ok, well, I leave it to Dure then...Dalnir really *is* a great zone, just that this quest about broke my spirit. I'd say a double effort (one to get the dagger by Velo, one for me to raise my Iksar faction) would be best, and whomever gets there first, wins

Any clues on the fastest way to raise cabilis faction? I can read the "faction" section on Allakhazam, but if anyone has a specific plan, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for the offer Drex. I just read your tales from Dalnir, very entertaining stuff. Anywho, I do intend to give the quest a shot. Even if I have to take Dure and lay waste to everything in sight.
As for faction for cabilis (which I happen to be working on also as I am a DE,) the heaviest hits I have found are the steel weapon turn-ins. The weapons drop in Veksar off just about any mob. You turn in 4 weapons of identical name to the Iksar on the pier in Ill Omen. You receive coin, xp, and all the appropriate faction hits to walk freely in the city of cabilis.

Legion of Cabilis will not get you near Crusaders as they are on Greenmist faction.

I have been doing weapon turn ins from Veksar to the lizard on the shore of LOIO and am still dubious to Crusaders and Threatening to Necros. Don't know how many more I'll have to do to raise it to apprehensive or indifferent.

This is like the coldain and CoV faction, you get to ally to dwarves long before you get there with the dragons.

if the timing works out, i'll come down into dalnir...i think theres a spawn thingy down there i need to pick up for chanter epic...a scrap of paper or somethin

I will help ya I have a little Ikky monk (34) that can come out and ahve some fun Last time we did a Monsay Monday Monday there, I had to leave b4 we got to get past the first 'building'.

Of Note: will definitely need a snarer. If I remember right, the mobs like to resist alot and can bring LOTS of friends quickly But would we want it any other way, really??
