ok this is a simple one, to llaffer, the casual gamers dont see the game problems, drex said it best here, but the overall issue is its becoming less FUN, more kill mob 01 take to npc 01 get ratio, kill again.

to drexxel, EQ2 is supposed to be for casual gamers, they want EQ1 to be for powergamers, ive seen it said myself.

Well, Laldaas, your quote from 5/12/2004 has convinced me even more that I will not be going to EQ2, not even if they give the game away. This is not the type of online game I want. When I play games of this type I just purchase the game and play against the computer without having to pay monthly fees or put up with the so-called patches that SOE does.

beastlords rock at soloing too. I think we were initially designed to be a solo class. No necros in eq2?? i didnt know that. already knew that my beloved BST class isnt in it. /cry

EverQuest II will use the same level restriction/recommendation that's been introduced in recent expansions on EverQuest. For players looking to buy and sell loot, the two starting cities will have consignment stores instead of the Bazaar zone in the current game. Rather than make a character and leave the game running to sell gear, you can sell your gear through a store in the city, and the store takes a cut of the action.

We enjoyed this in Horizons. Dont have to be online to sell your wares

The selling / buying system is also in use in SWG.

Apparently through a quest or something you can become a Necro in EQ2 but you lose your starting city without gaining the appropriate faction in the evil city right away.

Necros ARE in EQ2, make no mistake. The class progression is a little different, in that there are 'starting' classes, which can branch into a second path, and finally a third path.

so Necromancer more then likely will be a PC in EQ2. I can not see the elimination of a character that has held such a strong part in everquest lore.
along with that thought there are Good and Evil alignments. After all they do seem to be pushing balence in this game, so Im sure alignments play a part as wwell
