Wayfarers of Veeshan

This is just a quick update on our Vex Thal Initiative, wherein we are attempting to complete keys for Vex Thal, the final dungeon of Luclin.

In order to do gain entry we each need to complete the following tasks:
* Gather 10 shards to complete the Shadowed Frame
* Get a piece of Strange Green Metal from the named skeletons in Ssra Temple basement
* Get a Shissar weapon and combine it with the above metal to make a Corrupted Shissar weapon
* Gather 4 pieces of a key to enter the Emporers chamber in Ssra Temple
* Kill the Emperor and then get a Rift after he dies (should be about 40 of 'em available each kill)
* Each of us needs a Glowing Orb of Luclinite, off the 'mini' bosses scattered around Luclin

Almost all of these things are No Drop, so must be done with each character that wants access.

We just achieved our first Corrupted Shissar Weapon, grats to Darcasterr!

We're getting very very close to having a couple of people with the Ring of the Shissar, which is the Key to get in to see the Emperor.

And a couple of folks are getting close to completing the Shadowed frame.

I think one of our biggest challenges is going to be getting to and taking down the various Orb dropping critters.

I could use some help in organizing some expeditions to the areas that people need items from. We could probably do single groups in Ssra camping for Commanders. I know that we can do single groups for almost all of the shards.

Well I will be happy to voulenteer my current play time ( which hasnt been to much lately) to obtain shards. From this point on when I log in my main objective is to obtain a shard for someone or one needed for my self. Currently I still need Ssra temple, Sanctus seru, Maiden's Eye, Acrylia Caverns'a and Akeva ruins. All others I am very familiar with and if anyone could use assistance if I am on will become first priority.

What happens if I take both the red and the blue pill at the same time?

A few notes I learned about the Emperor (and Lord Seru):

Both are immune to normal weapons, thus the need to make the Bane weapons. Emperor bane are much easier to make than Seru Bane.

Pets are also pretty much usless unless they have a proc that can land.

Both are highly magic resistant, to the point where they are magic immune. Elemental attacks, procs, and spells seems to land pretty well, but pure magic spells (like all ENC spells) are useless.

Any melee that doesn't have Bane, but has an elemental nuking proc can still do damage by the procs alone.

When killing the Emperor, you need a good CC group to perma-hold about 4-6 mobs. If you kill them, they will insta-respawn, so you want to keep them tanked, mezzed, rooted, something to get them out of the way. I only recall one add when we did Seru.

Note on SSRA, Kahmon and I camped and killed commanders, taskmaster, and the named mob near taskmasters/skeleton cave. We then killed skeletons for a while and we ended up getting 3 or 4 items we needed in just a couple of hours. This is just to illustrate that a small well run group can do these areas pretty easily.
