Hello mates!!

It's me! Woogy! I hope you don't mind me posting on your wonderful forum, I had an urge to come and say hello to some of my old friends!!

Don't remember me? Here're a few things that might ring a bell: Honorable Knights, 55 Bard, Woogy (aka: da flirty bard), ex-leader of HK, participated in the alliance of HK and WoV... Hmmm... Sirblod? Mistmoore, Thistle Underbrush, Dreadlands, Karnor's Castle...

Still don't remember? That's maybe because I haven't had the pleasure to meet most of you, since I've been ex-EQ player since lsomething like more than a year. If we haven't had the chance to meet, I'm still happy to hear from you because I love all of the WoV's and HK's Hehehe!

My memory impresses me sometimes, I've talked to Valdarien 2 days ago thru e-mails and I've told him "Vald, dude I really miss EQ and the gang!!". Then I started having all those memories about H, WoV, WoV+HK, guild events and such... Good friends, family-like relationship... Aww... I miss all that!

I flew over the forum's member's list and I'd like to salute: Valdarien, (heh, duh Hey bro!) Lacries (Lacries!! *hugz*), Allegretta (Hey! I sure do remember ya, do you too? ), Tanliel (Maybe we haven't had the chance to journey together for that much of a long time cuz my memory of you is kinda blurry... but still!) and Moondarq (Brother, if you weren't a guy I'd kiss you! Oh hell... *kisses*!!). The others whom I remember, Shogi, Irodanis, Caldeen, Kahman, Dorann, Palan, Madessa and Messek (and maybe Pyroz? Magician... are ya? ...blurry), I bow to you and I jump around of happyness cuz it's really cool to see you're still around!! (Well I just read Caldeen had left? Aww.. ) ... it kinda sadens to me not see some of the names I had memory of. I hope they are still doing good too.

Well I don't have much to say but that... I'm finishing college in 2 weeks, then starting massotherapy classes in september... During the past 3 days I've had a hard time resisting to the temptation of re-activating my EQ account (go figure); I'd really love to come back and play again... But for the economical reasons (14 dollars in my bank account...), and for my health (EQ burns my brain cells like a bunch of mosquistos getting electrified on those blue lamps... anyway I understand myself... I'm not crazy!!), I must do my best to restrain from playing. But maybe *maybe* for the summer I could buy a 3 months session of EQ...

This is starting to look like a long message so I just say hi to you all and I love yas take care!!

Oh, and I totally admire the elders for sticking around for so long and making of WoV what it has become. *kneels* Cyas!

Great to see your post, Woogy. Of course I remember you. Take care and visit often. :)

My main memory of Woogy is that he was the first bard to show me how Bards really travel. I just put him on auto follow and he had levi, selos, and who-knows-whatelse going and we went for a spin from Warsliks woods to the Dreadlands. That was fun.

Good to see ya posting woogy. I believe they recently activated all closed accounts that are in good in good standing for a short time so you may be able to log in and say hi without paying for it.

After further memory investigation, I do remember better Irodanis (Bard fella! *cheers*), and if they're still around, Hi to liliweyni (forgot spelling), Zbik (or Zbix), Billings, Kithrana, Billette, Surphat, Moonfairy (cutie) and Swiftnote.

I hope I didn't forget anybody!

What was that? they reactivated accounts?? When why where how? What does "in good standing" mean? I'll try... Bah! gotta install EQ...

They recently changed the requirement from Direct X 8.0 to 9.0 or something like that, I don't remember what the numbers were but it was a change to Direct X. Maybe that's why it's not working. If you download the new drivers it should work. I wasn't around when you were around, but it's good to meet you anyway. Hope to see you in the game.

Well I've tryied it the 9.0 way, and that was part of the problem... I got to lauch the Tutorial right... But my problem was that EQ crashed when I was downloading the patch (45 minutes of downloading). Anyways, fixed that too. Now EQ is running, but the "account re-opening"t thing that Kahmon was talking about doesn't seem valid in my case...

It gives me the folloing message when I try to log on with my old account:
"The Key you are attempting to use is currently locked for registration. Please wait at least one minute then try again."

I don't what what that "registration" is about... I'd guess it's because I cancelled my registration when I last quit EQ (stopped paying), but if that was why... Then why would it tell me to retry in 1 minute? Weeeiiird... Well anyway I shouldn't (must not) reactivate anything within 2 weeks cuz I have my final exams... At least Eq is running!

P.S.: Hello Reka! Define Reka-like attitude plz? Is it good or bad? Or the right kinda wrong? like the bad kind of good... or bad in a good way? I'd think... that I'm confused... riiight... I'll sit down now... Okkkayy...

lol...I remember seeing Woogy a few times in passing and in breif conversation back in the day . The account reactivation gave all inactive acounts a free 1 month subscription from the first log in as long as the account was in 'good standing', meaning not banned (far as I know). There's a possibilty the period for that free-ness expired, but I'm not sure.../shrug. Hope you fix it

i dunno, reka is quite a character. ask other WoV they coudl probably desricbe what reka-liek is from thier on point of view. i just know you seem reka-like
