Wayfarers of Veeshan

That's right, Icewell Keep. No, we won't be fighting dwarves, we'll be fighting monsters! How you say? Well, have you ever looked down below the ice and wondered just what all those wierd looking critters were doing down there? Now's the time to find out. Assemble at 7:00 PM Eastern (6:00 PM Central) in the courtyard in front of the Keep, topside. Then we'll head to the Dain's court, levitate everyone, and leap down the icewell to the very bottom where we'll lay waste to the evil denizens below. We'll fight our way from one end of the pit to the other, and maybe even take down Grizznot if he's home. Fear not, for none of these creatures carry Coldain faction so we can slay them to our hearts content.

Is there a point to doing this? No, not really. Well, actually, there is one reason. When I was a lvl 35 paladin I got a crazy idea to cast undead DD spells through the ice at the skeletons below. Well, one summoned me down there and the rest wasn't pretty. I have been nursing a need for vengeance for ages and now is the time!

There probably won't be any loot to speak of. In fact, I don't really know exactly what we'll find down there. But we haven't done it before, and it's something I've always wanted to try. So, is anyone with me?

I'll try to attend. I'm getting my eyes dilated at 2:00 pm, and it depends on how well I can see four hours later. :)

As an alternative entry.. you can levitate down from the bridge that is just after you enter thurgadin. ( did this accidently with a fall not a levitate) There is a zone entry to Icewall Keep basement there. Doing a CR when we were 15 levels lower and had no idea what was in there was very interesting.

I remember that when we were in our late 30s low 40s ..Tylara died and was interesting getting her body ..but between Irodanis and Rogier they got me rezzed and we left. Recently ead about this area and the main loot you will find are quest gems and spell drops with a few other loot items

Thanks to everyone who showed up. We had a great time down there and Grizznot even decided to show his head before we were done. He was one heck of a fight for our group, but we did it and I walked away with his claws. A trophy and token that my grudge has been satiated.
