Wayfarers of Veeshan

I would like to get something setup sometime to try and take a large mob in Akheva Ruins. I'm not particularly preferential about which one we do, but might consider starting with The Va'Dyn, as he's closest to zone and should be easier than the others. Insanity Crawler has a nasty habit of spawning additional worms if someone dies. The Itraer Vius is a serious fight, lasts long and hits hard. Shei Venitras is the final mob for Akheva ... it's where I want to eventually get.









Anyone up for helping me plan/lead something against these?

Of course, a side benefit of doing these guys is that they should all drop A Glowing Orb of Luclinite, which is for the Vex Thal key. Only need to kill boss mobs once for everyone that needs a key!

I have killed Va'Dyn a couple of times with a friends guild a while back.
The only thing that comes to mind about it was make sure he's malo'ed, was hard to land slow without it, and get him slowed as soon as possible and make sure the slow doesnt wear off because he has high resists, keep casting slow on him every so often so you dont have it wearing off, and lastly I remembering it being a long fight. I want to say it took about 10-20 minutes to take him down both times and that was with rezzing in the middle of the fight (especially melees) so that you possibly have the extra people to deal with the adds that you'll get upon respawns during the fight.

Of course, at that time Va'Dyn was conning red to me. And only reason why i was there besides getting invited for that raid cuz i wasnt doing anything was that no shamans were on in their guild at that time and they couldnt take him down without a slower.

I'm also trying to remember if that was before the fact that you could level up to 65 instead of 60. If thats the case, it might not be so bad nowadays...

Havent posted here in quite sometime...What Delanie says is true...Va'Dyn is a fairly easy fight once mob is slowed...Even if its not he hits like a girl...Little wields his mace when he just wants to show off:). Anyways its a fun mob that you dont need a raid for....Only big deal about him is he has something like 1 million HP.
