Hello guys, this is not the real shogi, This is Seamwen, some of you know me, infact probably most of you know me and some of you don't, I do not expect any of you to take what I have to say seriously, yet some of you may. For those of you that know me, know that I am in CoE, I am plane of time flagged and elemental flagged, and just to give you some points of interest on your upcoming quest for elemental flags.
1. Since the plane of Time has become available to many guilds in Everquest, most guilds have become aware that the fact that you can no longer do upper end mobs with just a handful of people, for these "lesser" flag mobs you may be able to get away with just one group (i.e. poj trials, bot key.) Yet for a lesser "boss" mob (i.e. Xanamech for Factory key) you need about 36 people with key required classes (i.e. clerics, proper tanks, slowers etc.) these are also like no other mob like you know now, you will need the proper tactics and learn what to do when to do it at and break it down into a science. Why I am talking about Xanamech you ask...Simple, because Xanamech is good practice to what you will be going up against when it comes to Rallos Zek, VZ, TZ, Grummus etc.
2. Discipline, do you have what it takes to sit at your computer, non afk, listen to your leaders of the raid (i mean listen not everyone talk for themselves) when you start with these boss mobs getting your elemental flags you will spend days maybe weeks perfecting the tactics, even if you go to a soandso website that tells you to do a,b,c you still have to learn how to do that a,b,c you will most likely die several times, waste several hours for nothing, just learning the realistics of the event.
3. Gear, is your gear/resists up to date? by that i mean NTOV or better? VT? if not it is a good probability that these mobs will sit there and ask when your done and in the long run say DING!
these are just a few of many pointers i could give in a chance to help WOV become the next ele flagged guild on server, I have always offered help when needed, and even when it is not needed. Take my advice, work on what i have said, practice on Xanamech, once you get him tuned to a fine science you may very well be ready for the next mob, but remember, at the begining of PoP, Behemoth took 72 people, grummus took 72 people with relatively the same gear ya'll have now, with WOV and IR combined can ya'll reach those numbers and DPS to kill xanamech?
