I have read all over the Ranger boards that many people are very unhappy with the revamp. Personally I am happy I never had a chance to to the zone before, so to me it is what it is and I wouldnt know the diffrance. I am very pleased with the zone. It show alot of promise. Epspeacily for my self as a Ranger. The zone in is very large, so all that comes to mind is cool I can kite here. It has also been a blast doing the dungeon crawl thing with my guildies.

So what they changed some things, anyone who has played EQ for the past 3 years, REALLY what havent they changed.

When I lead the first raid how funny was it when I tried to go up the fake bridge to the castle"SPLASH" (thx Llaffer)
Or Who found it funny when Iro went through the invisable wall with a mob on his back and said " I CANT GET OUT"

Come on it is still a nice interesting zone for those who did like it I am sorry but really stop crying take it for what it is.

For me this is just one more reason to finish my AA's for Endless Quiver & Archary Master 3. After that Im sure this is where ill be.

What happens if I take both the red and the blue pill at the same time?

So, silly me, I've had my eye on PoM for like 20 levels and have studied the old version online, hoping for the day to get there. With the revamp, I'm curious how much of the "theme" and "layout" is different.

First off, does it appear that the map is still the same?
Is there any reason to believe that the quirkiness is different, such as, have they dropped "You", "Shall", "Not" and "Pass" as mobs? Have they dropped the 4 progressively shrinking sequences of rooms in the Alice In Wonderland area? Has "YOU" been dropped as a mob? (I love this..."YOU have hit YOU for 16 points of damage. YOU have slain YOU...")

Map and mobs...guess that's what I'm curious about. The loot was never as interesting to me as the basic hallucinogenic mind-trip that the programmers seemed to be on when they made it up.

From all appearances all those old mobs are gone. Most of the puns and jokes have been removed, or diluted seriously.

There are new quest mobs, but not as many. For example the chessboard (which was never solved) has been replaced with a ring style event.

Anyone know if they see through invis in PoM. If not then it should be easy to get a mage to the Chessboard and start CoH'ng others in. I acutally had fun in that zone, and was great that I finally found a use for my little floating eye. I'm ready to go back whenever, just let me know.

I was able to get a good distance into the zone while invis .. I would think it could be possible to get to the chessboard. And the mobs there are spaced out enough that a CoH chain should be possible.
