Wayfarers of Veeshan

Many people have expressed interest recently in someday reaching Vex Thal. The quest for the is very long and begins in Akhevia Ruins.

When: Sunday October 5th 2pm CST (noon PST/3pm EST)
Where: Meet in Dawnshroud Peaks at the Maidens Eye zone line.
Goal: To obtain a for everyone interested.

Anyone is welcome to come to support the raid, but for those interested in Vex Thal you should have 3 things:
1)A Wisp Stone. This is summoned by a level 4 mage spell. If a mage comes along then we can summon then when needed. If no mages are in attendence then I will ask someone to log one on to do the summoning before we begin.
2)An Essence Emerald. These are summoned by 51+ Necros and require a 46+ sacrifice or are regularly sold in the bazaar for between 300 and 400pp. I have seen them as low as 200, but very rarely.
3)Room for a container or the willingness to destroy one that you bring. I for one will only be carrying 7 containers that day.

One of the things this will do is gave us more options for small hunts since may of the shards to collect are soloable or 1 group encounters.
For Ssra Temple, Sanctus Seru & The Deep, raids will be forthcoming over the next few several months.
This is a long quest & I doubt any of us will be in Vex Thal this year, but it gives us another direction for those interested to pursue.

Vex Thall is a pretty big target, I mean, it's the end dungeon of Luclin isn't it? Guilds in VT are raiding guilds who have equipped themselves in the velious endgame and conqured the rest of Luclin, ie SSRA, Akheva, THO, etc etc. I've only heard of one or two raids to HoT, and none to NToV.

Actually, if you look, the guilds in VT right now are guilds like PE, Fiends, Farstorm, etc...hard core raiding guilds. We haven't even finished Kael yet have we?

I was with PE when they made the faction switch from HoT to NToV. That was a long time ago, and back then, they were killing Vindi much like we kill Lodi. I'm not sure we would be able to consistenly come up with the force necessary for raid encounters like these with a "show up only if you want to" policy. I'm not saying we need to turn into a raiding guild, far from it, I wanted to join a family oriented guild that's why I joined WoV. I'm just saying we might not want to set the bar so high.

I'm all for starting on the Vex Thal key quest.

I do want everyone to realize that we need to kill Emperor Ssraeshza in order to complete the keys ...

which means we need to make some ...

and get the ...

Sounds like we get to spend some 'quality time' in Ssraeshza Temple!

Hello all Your friendly neighborHood Druid here Anyway, just wanted to share some info and expound upon some of what Kahmon said. YES Vex Thal is a worthy goal and one that WILL take LOTS of time. I do believe Kahmon (/bows to the 7x250 ) stated earlier that this would be something to do during some down times when not much is happening. Dure also mentioned that most of the mobs can be either solo'd or a good group can take out the few Major NPC's until you get closer to the end. A friend of mine on another server was in one of the Uber Guilds, mostly 60+ peeps, he said from start to finish, it took them almost 6 months to get everyone their pieces. The shards are the REAL pain as they rarely drop, but I would LOVE to be able to help out and maybe even get a key myself as I believe it is a lofty goal to set and one day, I WILL have every key to every zone that has a key

So count me in I will be there with bells on, literally, to ward away the evil trees that Alle will no doubt sic on me

On that note... can anyone find a list of all the keys in the game? I've got some of the keys to Tower of Frozen Shadow (dunno which are which), and some of the Plane of Sky keys... might even have the Befallen keys someplace. lol Got a backpack or two full of them in the bank, no idea what all of them are to. And no idea of how to use the keyring feature.

A complete listing (key name and what it is actually to) would help in figuring out what zones we can or can't go to, and would help some of us set a few goals.
