Wayfarers of Veeshan

The Ring War - Just the thought is enough to make one shiver.
I feel we can do this, but I am sure we will need A LOT of help.

For those who are not familiar with this it is probably the biggest non planar event in EverQuest. It involves waves after wave of Kromrif giants attacking Thurgadin which must be stopped at all costs.

This is also a faction fest for both Coldain & Claws of Veeshan Factions.

Starting time: Noon CST (10am PST/1pm EST) on Sat. June 28th. Please be early if you can.

We will need as many people as possible to pull this off so every additional person you can get will also be very helpful.

Besides Greenmist, this is the quest I have dreamed the most about since I began playing EQ.

At the moment I plan to lead the raid, but if someone with experience LEADING the war would like to step up then I will be glad to compensate them with 1st choice of the additional prized loots from the war.

I can remember being a 30ish char and seeing one of these for the first time. Haams, Minalcar, Zayphres (or maybe Dorann) and I sat up on one of the cliffs overlooking Thurgadin and watched the giants march in. I can't believe we're actually going to do this war ourselves. :)

This is a good chance to get some good CoV faction, even if you cannot help with the actuall killing, tag as many as you can before they die.

Cast a L1 spell on them, shoot an arrow, throw a star, anything. Just don't get agro

I'll gladly be there. This has also been a dream of mine to attend a ring war. Always wanted to see a huge event like this with lots and lots and lots of mobs and npc's :)
