Wayfarers of Veeshan

Okay - this happened today. A little background. My name is Gus and I grew up in a very small GA town about 3 hours away.

So... I'm out riding today and drive past this car that is on fire. I pulled off the road and didn't see anyone, so I got out the cell and called Georgia State Patrol.

Officer: "Hello. G.S.P. office. How may we help?"

Me: "Yes..My name is Gus Reinhardt and I'd like to report a car that is on fire on I-95 near the Woodbine exit."

Officer: "So! What do you want me to do about it...GUSSIE!?"

Me: "Ummm..."

Officer: "You gonna cry about it GUSSIE?! Huh??"

Me: "Really?" Checking my phone to make sure the number was right.

Officer: "Come on GUSSIE...Cry for us! Tell us about your little problem!"

I was sort of laughing and about to hang up figuring I somehow dialed the wrong numer...

Officer: "Hey man! I'm just jacking with you. This is Pete North! Blah blah blah." A guy I grew up with. The odds of him being in this area AND having the guts to guess that there could only be one of me...lol.
