I dance and I sing, with lots to say. I glance and I spy, an odd thing today. An ogre ferocious, sword in hand. With uber muscles, smashing things in the sand. I looked and wondered, what he'd killed. He looked and smiled, mouth ugly teeth filled. Some poor halfling, by the feet I noticed. "Some rogue thief", he said in protest. Friends we became, somewhat a surprise. There be only one thing, may cause it's demise. There in the desert, we stood in discussion. The wind was blowing, causing some disruption. So at first I had thought, "I must have misheard". So in a burst I asked, "What was that Name word?" He repeated again, and this time there was no doubt. He had a girly name, for such a bit lout. I repressed a grin, but couldn't keep my mouth shut! I confessed my sin, "You've got a Girl name!.. But" I noticed a change, he became quite heated. I did my best to backpedal, so he didn't feel mistreated. The damage was done, he'd become unbuckled. The carnage was coming, I was sure to be crumpled! Like thunder exploding, his laughter was frightening. From under his belly, it crashed like lightening. "You've got a big mouth, you silly leetle bard". "You've got guts, talking to me so hard". After I stopped shaking, I gave a nervous laugh. I thought I was popped, but instead on the right path. You see as a bard, I can't keep it in. To me he's "Sally", not really Salyen. |
