*In the uppermost level of the Neriak library, Geralis searches for the Black Book of Death. Alas, it was hidden precautiously by a great wizard, protector of Norrath, mysterious yet still alive, somewhere in a mystic wizard tower unknown to all but the most powerful wizards. He sealed the book with powerful Runes, and hid it behind a secret bookshelf doorway. In exasperation, Geralis calls for Geradru using his telepathic ability, his eldest son, to come and track down the book. A few minutes later, a wolf enters, followed by two of the library's guardians, two ghouls, chasing after him. The wolf came back to his usual form, and it turned out to be Geradru, the small halfling; he spinned around, began to cast his ever-so powerful nuke, but before he knew it, Geralis slayed them both with his mighty undead spells. "Greetings, father." "Ah, son! Can you sense the presence of the book I am seeking?" "Indeed...It appears to be behind this bookshelf...Let me see if I can find any mechanism..." *Geralis, impatient, did not wish to wait any longer, and blast the bookshelf to pieces, Geradru screaming in suprise. Before them stood a small hole in the wall. Geralis reached in, and when his hands came back out, he was holding a large, black book. "The Book of Death! At last! Now, to open it...Hggnnnnn...Must have been magically sealed!" He begins casting Cancel magic. On his first attempt, the book stays shut, but upon his third attempt, magical colours sprout from the book's cover, and opens up, releasing a morbid scent of decay. "Now. Leave me to my incantations, Geradru. Go and check for any intruders." As Geradru leaves the room, Geralis starts to speak in the Dark Elves' language, Tier D'hal (is that it or not? I forgot) the language of the Dark Arts. A portal suddenly appears in the middle of the room, and Geralis reads yet another line from the book. A few seconds later, skeletons, spectres and all of the deadliest undead start coming out of that portal one by one...It was the army of the Gera, the one which used to be stored in the secret hideout in the Gera plains...Now, the invasion is ready........ (Now, continue the story peeps...Evil vs Good. Necros, I'm counting on YOU) |
