Waaaaay off topic here...

I'm a fan of "psychedelic" music and am wanting to make myself a CD or two, but the problem is:
1) The term "psychadelic" is vague.
2) The number of such songs that really appeal to me is limited. [there is a lot of psychedelic music out there, but I've only found 3 songs so far that reach into my bones and make me feel like I'm in Haight-Ashbury in 1967]. I only have 3 so far, but would love to hear anyone's suggestions if you have a favorite or two.

Here's what I have so far:
The White Ship by H.P. Lovecraft (yes the song, not the story)
Moonlight Drive by The Doors
White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane

Now....please don't debate me on whether these songs fit an established definition of "psychedelic", just know that I'm looking to make a CD along these lines and welcome any and all your ideas...the guild always seems to come up with great lists whether it's music, books or movies (just like Media Play I suppose )

i would reccomend som purple haze or similar in regards from hendrix(aka guitar god)

houses of the holy(led zepplin) album was pretty good

lucy in the sky with diamonds and strawberry fields from the beetles ..

and ofcourse .. the entire dark side of the moon album from pink floyd (i love us and them and money =P)

edit ~ also i would look stuff up in itunes they let you hear samples of every song they offer im sure you can find some stuff there
