The list goes on and on much of which are off beat books that a friend of mine gave me, things my mother suggested, or things that I got at the 2nd had book store.

i had noi idea there were other books after Dreampark, Tan. Very cool! I will have to find them) Oh i read on a Pale Horse too. that was a very good book. Ws actually thinking about that one the other day. Another to add to my collection

The education of Little Tree by Forrest Carter. He's the guy that wrote the the book which the movie "The outlaw Josey Wales" was based on. It's an autobiography of his childhood being raised by his grandparents in the Appachians during the depression.

Lord of the Flies and Cather and Rye oh and Of Mice and Men.

i honestly have to admit that i read very selectively becuase i have friends that are accomplished writers and are constantly giving me stuff for free .. therefore i tend to read only their stuff (lol)

ok i know a few good ones,
lord of the rings was wonderfull, first read it when i was maybe 7?
also catcher in the rye and lord of the flies were both good
also there is a book called the perks of being a wallflower that is good.
the art of happiness by his holiness the 14th dalai lama.
the tao of pooh.
the 48 laws of power. good history lesson in this one.
and if you enjoy tim burtons dark humor he wrote a poem book called the melencoly death of oyster boy.
