Well I believe it is time for us to move again folks. While I enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing and area well, my friends and I are chaffing at the bit as it were, to get out and see more of Norrath. We have shown countless times that we are more than a match for anything that those Icky spores can throw at us. We have also learned that the goblins are like cockroaches. Step on one and you will still have hundreds to do battle with. It's a never ending battle.
Last night was less than profitable for us. We managed to make it to the slime room with less trouble than we usually do. I think part of our problem in that area seems to be Drexxell has this totally unthinking pet with him. The pet always gets separated and lost. When he is found again it is usually with a few dozen goblins attached. We have solved the problem by Drexx just leaving him behind. We killed the elemental easily but alas he was not the one carrying the necklace. We didn't see any more elementals handy so on we went.
We went down to the spore room for a bit and discovered that after the first room cleaning, the spores were just not around. Even the normally prolific sporelings were absent. we must have given the Myconoids something to fear. We stayed for maybe a few hours and then decided to head out to the Gorge to hunt the evil eyes and their Lords. We squished a few muddites, beat a few dozen minotaurs down and headed for the center of the gorge.
I was saddened by the ease with which the eyes fell. Even the Lords went down easily. I had expected at least a nominal fight but it was not meant to be. We stayed a short while and decided to head home. Was rather a let down for me. Sigh... I believe that I am developing a bloodthirsty streak. I pray that Tunare will forgive me.
I have suggested to my compatriots that perchance we should head to the Southern Plains of Karana and hunt the undead there in the hopes that we are up to the task to take out a creature who goes by the name of Grimrot. I have heard of a wonderous shield that I would dearly love to have. There is also an infestation of gnolls there that may prove profitable. We shall see.
