24 person max raid in Barindu, Hanging Gardens
The loot that comes from the chest will be awarded on a need before greed basis

I am hoping to take this bad boy down for my first 1.5 fight

I will need help locating a NPC Taiandao just before the fight. he is the one who spawns Viarglug. There is a named that is sometimes in or near the building that Taiandao is in that will most likely have to be killed. Talking to Taiandao and saying "What muramite killed Whiahdi?" will spawn Viarglug.

Viarglug is KoS but will not attack till he is attacked or hailed. He has a mana drain/DoT AE that will overwrite Lich and KEI/VoQ He doe NOT summon from what I can see. He is very magic resistant and is "Mind-Whackable". DPS will be crucial in this fight since he drains mana. We will need to kill him before our healers run out of mana.

Decreases HP when cast by 1000(no clue what that means)
Decreases 100 Mana per tick
Decreases HP by 100 per tick
Decreases End by 150 per tick
Decrease End by 100(Allakhazam error?)
Increase Curse Counter by 16

We will have to clear the area of mobs before fighting him. He drops Whiahdi's Earthly Possessions and a chest with additional loot

I remember this fight with Zayph and I think I died twice just trying to get to Taiandao, but it really depends on if a see invis named is up and wandering the zone or not when you go.

yeah i decided about a week ago to go there and just see if i could find him. I think i foundthe building he is in but before i knew it i was slain by a named..... I guess we will have to kill him then if he is there!

thanks alley, yes he was tough. I should have mentioned that he sucks the mana out of you fairly quickly, but I forgot. We wiped on our first try but succeeded getting him onthe second one with few deaths on the second try. Thanks to all who helped! Last fight is the final boss Tarlang!!!
