Received new update patch today and now I cant connect. Error says that launchpad.exe is unable to connect.... Well never had a problem before now. My internet works. Firewall has both everquest and launchpad as exceptions. I downloaded latest update patch from SOE and zipped into place. I disabled all firewalls and I ran it with no luck. Gives me same error. Not firewall issue. ANy suggestions would be helpfull. |

Oh, Mord, how frustrating. I bet Tan can give you some ideas when he sees your post. Mine worked, but I'm clueless as to why. |

What are you clicking on to launch EQ? the old EQ icon or a new Launchpad icon? Something that you _could_ do ... would be to uninstall Launchpad and let it attempt to repatch. |
