For the last few months whenever I boot up I get an error messege saying 4dc: qttask.exe - No Disk . Inside the error box it says There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk\Dr2. I assume this is a diskmonitor problem. Cant seem to find any upgrades or programs in windows update for it and theres no brand names on this program. Any ideas? It would'nt bother me much but the error messege wont go away and I have to slide it off the screen, hehe |

I snooped around a little and here's what I've come up with. You need to make sure that QTTASK isn't running in the Task Manager, then go and rename that file (qttask.exe). There are several other things that you could do, but no guarantees that they'll work in the long term. QTTASK isn't actually USED for anything...other than to annoy people, stinkin' Apple folks, makin' us use things like QuickTime. |
