I use Google Toolbar to remove pop-ups, myself. And I also run both SpyBot S&D and Ad-Aware, but was told by my ISP provider that running both of them simultaneously can sometimes cause problems. I've seen none, but thought I'd throw it out there.

careful on adaware I've had a couple of computers at work simply stop working as far as any kind of networking after being scanned by adaware. Luckly found a webpage with fix, has something to do with adaware acidentally removing some files windows needs to network.
