I have also had some problems. Zbik's entire UI got wiped out as well as his hotkeys. I use the same UI on all my characters and it's working everwhere else. I'm also getting kicked out of chat channel regularly and my guild chat seems to want to default to the main window every time I zone rather than stay in the seperate window I usually have it going to. I think it's safe to say it's not your harddrive or anything you did |

That's one of those good news/bad news deals. I can sometimes fix the stuff I screw up. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Sony sometimes . . . But I guess I'll wait and see. And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having problems. |

I can only offer the advice given to me loooong ago by an EQ techie... I was told that to transfer all character info, and hotkey stuff, that all "*.opt" and "*.ini" files must be transferred. And while *most* of the *.opt and *.ini files are ones with character names in them, there are a few opt and ini files that do NOT have characters names as part of their filename. Whether these 2 or 3 files are causing the problem, I can't say. (One of them is "ss.opt", I think...doing this from memory). All I know is that I've never transferred EQ information without using ALL these files. Hope it helps, for what it's worth, Drex |
