Greetings all,
While in SF yesterday with Alley, Malbro, and Freez the subject of my lack of graphics came up again. I thought I had given up trying to fix it but after talking about it I have my doubts whether I've done everything correctly to fix. My problem is this...Almost every mob in every zone of Kunark appears on my screen as naked humans of various sizes. I think it might be better to assume of done nothing to fix this rather than have me try to explain what hasn't worked...(shhh...i'm a techno idiot :oops: )
BTW, had a great time in SF on the xp grind for Freez to hit 49, hope you made it!

I should have posted this before because Loull also has had graphics issues. This link is to the EQ tech boards with my delima at the time. I did what they said to do and it did correct the problem. You may want to try the same thing.

Hmm, this isn't a messed up graphics issue, like we had when there were UI changes. This sounds like a MODEL issue. Have you tried doing a full scan of the EQ files? Instead of hitting Play at the loader, make sure that Autoplay is NOT checked and click the Advanced button.
On this screen, be sure "Autodownload" is checked as well as all of the expansions that you have. Then click the big "Complete File Check" button to do a scan of all the EQ directory. Hopefully, it will just reveal that several files are corrupt and redownload them for you.

Tried that, took about 20 min to download even on my awesome dsl, game ran terribly laggy afterward and still no proper models. reloaded of the discs as well. i did manage to fix the lag, but /sigh, still just men...
