this is easy! What is it? and how to i reset it so it works? And, Would reinstalling Windows fix it, because it might motivate me to install Vista on my Desktop lol |

I know what proxy servers in general are. I just don't know what Razox means, especially when he says "this is easy." |

The proxy server is refusing connections Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections. * Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct. * Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. And none of my programs are connecting EXCEPT AOL And i Run Vista Just fine on my Laptop, So far ive liked it. well to say it isnt much of a differnce except Vista is New and will be the favorite for Microsoft for atleast a few more years.

my firefox doesnt connect through a proxy that sounds wierd are you atleast on a router or something that might hinder conencting to another party before going to the net? |

I am not very smart at these things, but sounds like a problem I had before. I sort of keep bashing at the problem then usually luck upon a solution. Not sure what the issue is but sounds like a firewall issue. Make sure your firewall software has eq as an application not to block. |
